The beautiful songs unfold through dance, visuals, choir, and guest performances with an energy ranging from the delicate and intimate to the explosive and voluminous.
As a songwriter and co-founder of the band Under Byen, Katrine Stochholm established herself as an innovative, international artist around the turn of the millennium. Under Byen still stands as one of the most inventive Danish bands of all time, and as a key member of Under Byen, Katrine helped create three significant and highly critically acclaimed albums. In 2016, she debuted with her first solo album Danser til radio which also received much praise.
With her latest album, Stochholm depicts the Danish nature, the changing of seasons, and the strong forces that are at play in everything from the smallest blades of grass to the overriding consequences of global warming. With one song dedicated to each month of the year, the album stands as an art-pop tribute to the passage of time and nature.
