The trumpeter Jac Berrocal, synth musician Vincent Epplay, and guitarist David Fenech have been performing together for over a decade. Their music is both free and rooted in jazz, post-punk, sound poetry, and musique concrète. For the first time, they join forces with the Danish duo Kaptajn Ørentvist (P.O. Jørgens and Jørgen Teller), who have been collaborating under this name since 2014.
Together, they will present new music that blends structured patterns with shifting layers, rhythmic interplay, and improvisational explorations in an art-rock, indie-jazz-related style. Additionally, Jac Berrocal and Jørgen Teller will vocalize texts in short passages.
Randi Pontoppidan takes the audience on a sonic journey into the untranslatable alphabet of the human voice. Her soundscape exists in an expressive, sonic, and poetic universe of mutual responsiveness.
Don't miss this extraordinary performance during Vinterjazz 2025 at turkis!
