IMPORTANT INFO: We are very sad to announce that the concert has been cancelled, as Taxi Kebab unfortunately had to interrupt their Denmark tour due to personal reasons. Everyone who has bought a ticket will have the ticket price refunded within 5 working days.

PACHAÏ

Jeppe Pachaï (he/him), performer and DJ, have been playing in various constellations the last couple of years – but recently he has been working on a solo project titled pachaï. The name origins from Iran and so do all the music that Jeppe will be playing in this new dogmatic solo-project. What happens right now in Iran is strong – and the presence of Iranian music on this night is important. Join pachaï on the floor, send a thought to the revolution and dance to traditional poppy tunes and new electronic sounds from musicians with Iranian roots and heritage.

TAXI KEBAB

Come and dance when Taxi Kebab takes over turkis with a wild electronic live-set! The duo is a collision between synthesizers, drum machines, modulated guitars and amplified buzuq. In a re-appropriation of her father’s language, it’s through a liberating poetic register that Leïla Jiqqir with buzuq, guitar and voice interferes with the acid arpeggios and rippling layers led by Romain Henry’s experiments with machines. The music of the french-moroccan duo is mainly electronic but sometimes close to krautrock, psyche, or techno influences, haunted by the specter of North African roots. Revealing some disordered identities fragments, their music is a night ride, through roads and landscapes into a rough and disoriented sound.

MUSKILA

Muskila, a Copenhagen-based creator and DJ, is known for his peculiar production approach that focuses on blending rhythmic elements and percussions. Growing up as a Kurd in Denmark, he has always felt underrepresented in music and arts, consequently his goal is to show the beauty of his background. His curious style follows high energy rhythms and club music, always trying to challenge the status quo. Muskila is working actively to change the club and arts scene for minorities, as the co-founder of the SWANA-focused club night, Bukhar, and working with the BIPOC radio, FragmentRadio.
