I Just Came From The Moon
After having been deeply committed to creating new music for a while, I Just Came From The Moon is finally ready with a new album that has already gotten great reviews and has been played repeatedly on P8 Jazz. The Aarhus quintet is known for combining the intense fragility of jazz with a more modern indie sound.

With the new album, there is now a natural sequel to the debut album 'Hoax', and the band is more than ready to present their new music to an audience! Reviewer Ivan Rod describes the new album like this: "Their new music is more stylish, convincing and magnetic - rounded by what in modern jazz is called the Nordic tone or Nordic melancholy. But of course, a tone or melancholy that in the case of I Just Came From the Moon meets resistance from the full moon In that sense, the music is faceted, colorful, and fascinating to immerse yourself in - because you both hear the whole and see/hear the details, the highlights, the valleys. "

I Just Came From The Moon won ‘Ung Jazz’ in 2016 and has since played well-attended concerts throughout Denmark, but has also noticed a growing interest from abroad. An interest that has already turned into two shows for the Oslo Jazz Festival and a showcase for the EFG London Jazz Festival 2018, as well as a special concert at the world's largest jazz fair Jazzahead in Bremen in 2019.

Dynastiet
Join in and experience two of the most distinctive characters of the young, Danish jazz scene unite in a new duo. With backgrounds in critically acclaimed bands such as Girls in Airports, Traveling Tribes, Caktus, and Køs, the two siblings Maria and Victor Dybbroe have created a sensuous sound universe that mixes strong melodic lines with the impulsive energy and circular rhythmic sequences of free jazz.

In a playful way, the two move intuitively from the improvised to the structured - from the acoustic to the manipulated. Their first single 'In Our Garden' was released on December 30 2021 on Barefoot Records - and more music is on the way!
