SVANEBORG KARDYB

Fusion of beautiful melodies, delicate minimalism, catchy grooves, subtle electronic vibes, Nordic atmosphere and organic interplay. This is how Svaneborg Kardyb's music can be described, and it all stems from the joy of playing with each other. The award-winning Danish duo has established their name on the international scene. Most recently, Svaneborg Kardyb, as only the 4th Danish artist, has joined the wild palette of artists who have appeared on NPR's Tiny Desk Session over time. This concert will feature a lot of new music, as the duo's 3rd studio album will be released in November!

MARTIN VOLLERTSEN

Martin Vollertsen composes and performs rustic, melodic and thoughtful jazz compositions with weight. Through a strong compositional intuition for catchy melodies delivered with a consistent emotional expression, Vollertsen has created a particularly human, unpolished and accessible jazz sound. On the live stage, he brings with him two talented musicians in Harald Hagelskjær, an up-and-coming bass player from Aarhus, and John Riddell, one of the country's leading jazz drummers. The trio's performances are characterized by their infectious musical synergy and undeniable charm, but most of all for the timeless music.

UDSYN

Udsyn is an instrumental band that writes music inspired by Nordic jazz and cinematic soundscapes. The melodies are the driving force in an evocative multitude of sounds, and the music really comes alive on stage, when the intense interplay and improvisations unfold the songs in both grandiose and intimate universes. Udsyn consists of five musicians who come from different corners of the Danish music scene, and who meet to experiment and compose music inspired by many different styles and moods.
