KLIMAFORANDRINGER

It's going to be a big night when Klimaforandringer takes the stage this Saturday at turkis. In trance-inducing soundscapes, the band's music forges deep connections between riveting layers of polyrhythms, potent club music and kraut. Unison prog-rocked progressions meet desert-rock guitars and auto-tune in natural union with 80s-fresh piano, choric vocals and wide, ambient synths.

In simple lyric, the band describes emotions revolving around paternity and seeks to express the frustration and powerlessness of the unrestful state of the world, misfortune and inequality. The music and lyrics act as a vent, processing the contrasting emotions associated with the experience of bringing life in to a world in rapid decay. But also to shed light on a universal connectedness that stimulates the listeners’ perception of themselves in the present - a spiritual buffer zone, in which we can fathom the times we live in and the emotion that arises with it.

LUEENAS

The experimental electric string duo rebel against the idea of the composer as a solo genius, and have as the first in DK made a "film score band" insisting on collaboration as a core and vital part of their composition process. Through a year of improvised sessions, and informed by their involvement in other projects across pop, jazz, electronic, experimental and post-classical music, their self-titled album Lueenas came to life. The album is the first release from their hand that is made without a visual companion, and we are happy to present a unique opportunity to celebrate the release of their album with you.
