9/9 -10/9 2023
Experience 28 hours of non stop survival concert
Resources are pushed to the limit when 9 musicians from very different genres together with 1 writer meet to create a 28-hour improvised work – a manifesto for our pressured biodiversity, but also a tribute to it.
PROGRAM
➤ Concert starts 9/9: 18:00
➤ Concert ends 10/9: 22:00
➤ Entrance: Pay what you want by the entrance to turkis.
What becomes of the music when the forces are reduced? And will everyone succeed in continuing to play, listen to each other, give space, take space and not least support each other when the concert moves into the second day?
Between Music is behind the concert, which focuses on the Danish red list of more than 4,000 endangered animal, plant and mushroom species here at home. The list is cited hour by hour in alphabetical order, all the while the musicians seek to keep their own musical ecosystem alive until the 28th hour.
The audience creates energy
The audience plays an important role! Regardless of what time of day you show up, it will affect the musicians' energy enormously. And it is up to you whether you want to dance, rest, experience a single hour or more or simply watch the finale, where we hope to end with joint music that involves the audience.
If there are those who want to take the whole journey with the musicians, donated works of art will be waiting after the concert.
Experience one hour or experience many. Pillows can be borrowed on site, but please bring sleeping mats and something to eat if you want to give yourself completely to the sound and the senses while the concert unfolds. Drinks can be bought at the bar 24 hours a day.
Who?
The red list concert has been developed by the Aarhusian international company, Between Music, in collaboration with author Lone Hørslev and the musicians Nikolaj Heyman, Bjørn Svin, Carsten Kær and Christian Windfeld.
Thank you for the support to Aarhus Municipality and Sparbank Nord
