Aarhus Folk Festival organizes a hobby concert where you can knit, crochet, embroider, or whatever else you do while you listen to the beautiful sounds of the Swedish vocal quartet Kongero this afternoon at turkis.

You are of course welcome to come without pursuits of any kind, just to enjoy the concert.

EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP

In collaboration with the talented people from Broderi Moderne, Aarhus Folk Festival has created an embroidery pattern inspired by the Lyø floral motif from this year's festival poster. There is a presentation in 2 levels of difficulty, so you can participate in the workshop whether you are completely new to embroidery or whether you are an experienced embroiderer.

After the concert, we mark the end of the festival by having Aarhus Folk Festival's 3 resident artists cut the artwork they have worked on during the festival from the large floor tapestry.

KONGERO

Kongero is a Swedish Folk-acapella group which, with its powerful and captivating voices, has toured Europe, Canada, Barbados and Singapore. A concert with Kongero takes the listener on an imaginative journey through energetic vocal arrangements of dance music and shows from Scandinavia.
