Come inside and get warm and enchanted by Ida Wenøe's voice and music this evening at turkis! Before the concert, Devran Alici will fill the room with crisp Middle Eastern tones and play a lovely solo set on the Anatolian stringed instrument 'baglama'.

Ida Wenøe is known as an excellent and intense live performer who enchants her audience wherever she plays. She has created her own universe by mixing American role models such as Nick Drake, Sufjan Stevens and Leonard Cohen with her Danish roots from Carl Nielsen to Sebastian and threads to English folk.
The award-winning Danish folk artist visits turkis with her brand new band to celebrate the release of her third solo record "Undersea", which hits the streets on October 6, 2023.
The songs for the album were written and recorded in two old, wind-swept summer houses by Lønstrup and Venø Bugt, in the middle of the powerful, northwest Jutland nature with seabirds, deer and pheasants as the only company.
