GUIDING STAR ORCHESTRA

Guiding Star Orchestra is instrumental roots/reggae with clear dub elements. Here the hard and meditative beats of the bass and drum section are blended with the melodic phrases of the wind instruments, which are in turn supported by the pulsating expressions of the strings and keys, which are finally taken to cosmic heights with the sound engineer's dub effects. Together, this constitutes the Guiding Star Orchestra's distinctive sound, a sound that is strongly inspired by the roots reggae of the 70s and early 80s, but which the band has also taken its own direction collectively - "Communion".

DENALI SOUND SYSTEM

Over the last 12 years, Denali Sound has built their "sound" by collecting vinyl, building boxes, promoting bass culture and presenting many great artists. Denali Sound was founded in 2006 by Nick Sangill Mikkelsen who also founded "Raggapak" the same year (Former Danish Reggae Festival). When Denali is involved, expect heavy bass, Roots and Culture. Denali plays dub, steppers, roots and jungle spiced up with rare obscure tracks and dubplates.

KALI-MA SOUND

Kali-Ma Sound has a rare and energetic style and puts a lot of energy into collecting the music. This makes the selection versatile and you can expect creative juggling between everything from heavy dub, roots reggae, rocksteady, old dancehall from the 70s, 80s and 90s to contemporary dancehall of our time. Kali-Ma never loses their grip on the crowd.
