International inspiration and networking with GLOMUS at turkis
Aarhus provides the framework for GLOMUS Camp 2022. From the 17th of August to the 27th, more than 150 students and teachers from higher music and performing arts educations around the world will meet to unfold, explore and challenge each other in artistic intercultural collaborations.
The camp’s thematic focus is GLOBAL OPTIMISM, which will form the basis for artistic co-creation and debate during the camp. During the ten days, several public events will be held, where citizens from Aarhus and local collaborators are invited to experience and participate in the camp.
As a part of the program, turkis is hosting 4 Open Stage nights on the 20th and during the 22nd-24th of August, all nights at 20:00. It will be four nights of concerts and performances by the GLOMUS participants – talented artists from all over the world. After the main acts, we will invite all of the participants to join more unofficial jam sessions. Each Open Stage has their own theme: the 20th is about music, the 22nd is about dance, the 23rd is about words and lastly the 24th is about music again.
These events are open to the public and make great opportunities to seek new inspiration and to widen your artistic international network. So, drop by turkis and step into the world of art and music.
