Look forward to an afternoon of musical presence, sparkling energy and dance-friendly rhythms for the whole family.
Join the newly formed Kasola trio on a journey around the sun and down to West Africa. The trio flies with the birds and along the way visits both the stars, dreamland and other strange places where anything can happen! The Kasola trio plays original compositions, and combines inspiration from jazz and traditional music from West Africa and Scandinavia.
That same afternoon you have the pleasure of experiencing the Moussa Diallo Trio's adventurous fusion of West African music, soul and blues. Combined with song and music, the Moussa Diallo Trio enchants with the age-old tradition found in all cultures: telling stories, passed down through generations.

KASOLA TRIO
The creative duo Katrine Suwalski & Ayi Solomon have been exploring the borderland between Jazz and its roots in West African music for years. The duo has invited the fantastic kora player Lamine Cishoko to Denmark to play with them, and together they form the Kasola Trio. Lamine Cisshoko says: "I am inspired by the Mandinka melodies inherited from my griot ancestors. I intertwine jazz melodies with oriental melodies, Nordic folk music and improvisations. My kora is a soft and mysterious companion, my voice for harmony and respect."
MOUSSA DIALLO TRIO
With roots in Mali and West African music culture, Moussa Diallo presents a fusion of West African music, soul and blues. Inciting rhythms and musical poetry are what characterize Moussa Diallo's music. For many years, Moussa has composed and published under his own name. Many of the songs are in Bambara - one of the many local dialects in Mali. With his Groovy Afro/Blues band, Moussa serves up a good selection of these songs.
