TIME BUBBLE: BJØRN SVIN / JOHANNA SULKUNEN / TAPANI TOIVANEN
28/3/2025
Doors: 19:00 // Admission: 100 DKK
Vocal artist and composer Johanna Sulkunen and electronic music artist Bjørn Svin present a journey between the organic elements of the voice and machines as raw material.
The interplay between the "body instrument"—the organic human voice—and contemporary technology forms a meeting point that transcends genre limitations, allowing for new expressions and the emergence of fresh auditory and emotional connotations.
Visual artist Tapani Toivanen will complement the sound with a generative, interactive live visualization system, entirely handcrafted from scratch and integrated with the music, creating complex, organic, and ever-evolving patterns.

BJØRN SVIN
Bjørn Svin is a lifelong sonic creator, sound designer, composer, and performer of rhythmic electronic music. For nearly three decades, he has released experimental and innovative music on various labels in Denmark, England, and Germany. While rooted in club culture, Bjørn often moves beyond the conventions of the dance floor to create a liberated yet distinctly rhythmic expression. He combines electronic music production, sound design, and live performance. In this project, Bjørn will perform with electronic rhythms, sound, and compositional frameworks while processing Johanna’s vocal sounds, creating a unique setting where the overall "sound" emerges as a sensitive and improvisational interplay.
