SORTEN MULD
"It tingles. Yes, it's the kind of musical experiences that for decades has had the predicate 'unforgettable' etched into the fingertips (...) Sorten Muld is currently one of the most intoxicating, unique, and exclusive concert experiences in the concert calendar."

The Folktronica pioneers, who in 2022 celebrated the 25th anniversary of their breakthrough album, "Mark II", still play with the same nerve and curiosity as when they first gave Nordic medieval ballads an electric shock back in the late 90s. Since then, Middle Eastern instruments and inspirations have naturally found their way into the expansive sound landscape, adding new nuances to their completely unique universe.
For the concert, we encounter Ulla Bendixen's intimate vocals at the center of the expansive 6-member orchestra. New and old songs in an orchestration that moves between quiet intimacy and sky-splitting outbursts. It's the new sound of the North - and the new sound of Sorten Muld.
The concert offers both tracks from the new album 'Mark IV - lånt tid' and a great retrospective of classics from the old ones; "Mark II" and "III".
JUSTINE BOESEN
Justine Boesen from Denmark creates a unique and sensitive universe with her accordion and her clear soprano vocal. With her unusual instrument she invites the listener into a modern lyrical vocal universe, where she combines sound and poetry to create a cohesive performance. With a love for the Nordic music and sound, as well as a fascination with powerful sopranos, such as Eivør and Kate Bush, Justine Boesen takes the stage with a narrative presence, where her original poems and lyrics are enveloped in her symbiotic sound of accordion and vocal.
Justine Boesen received the "This Years Katapult"-award in 2024 and was nominated for a DMA as "This Years New Danish Roots Artist" in 2023. Furthermore, Justine Boesen was the headliner at the renowned German festival Folkbaltica in 2023, where she also released her first three debut singles under her own name during the same period.
