Over 20 years, Jens Berents Christiansen aka Rumpistol has developed into one of the best and most curious electronic musicians and producers of his generation. But since 2020, his career has taken significant new turns, motivated by personal experiences.

By working with a more organic expression and his own fragility, Rumpistol has with his two latest albums gained access to many new listeners who have been able to reflect themselves in the music and use it to process sadness, anxiety and stress.

Rumpistol Ensemble consists of collaborators from both the world of jazz music and classical music, and was formed in connection with the release "After The Flood" (2020). He has since released the critically acclaimed album "Isola" (2022) and most recently "Going Inside" (September 2023).​​
