Does discrimination take place in Aarhus?

Mino Ung Aarhus invites you to Mino Talk: Discrimination on 30 May at 7-9pm. After the panel debate, there will be a lounge from 21-22, where you are invited to further talk, music and pleasant company. This is a non-alcoholic event, but there will be an opportunity to buy Turkish coffee/tea, soda and juice. The event is open and free to all and takes place here at turkis.

For this Talk, Mino Ung Aarhus will give an insight into what it is like to be an ethnic minority in the nightlife, the labor market and the education system.

- Why is it relevant to talk about discrimination in Aarhus?
- How is discrimination experienced and what influence does it have on the person who experiences it?
- Do public bodies focus on discrimination and is there help available?
- Is there an anti-racist action plan in Aarhus Municipality?

These questions are among others what the panel will strive to answer during the evening, where both personal and professional experiences will be shared.
