SPOR and turkis invite you in for a performance with Minami Saeki.
Minami Saeki uses music compositions to express the life she has lived so far. The experiences she has had, the feelings that follows, and the energies within them. During SPOR festival Saekis music performance is based on three different compositions. Each composition is played by different musicians who interpretant Saekis memory and experience, which is the source of the score. Different bodies express and explain Saekis perception of life. The shift in bodies and compositions transforms the music performance into an intimate and personal experience for each guest.
Minami Saeki (1990, J) is a film actress, singer, composer, choreographer and dancer. She has studied classical ballet, modern dance, classical singing and much more. As an actress, she has been in films as "Village on the Village" by Yukihiro Kurokawa and "Natsu no Musumetachi-Himegoto" by Teiichi Hori. She has also choreographed and appeared in Shugo Tokumaru's music video with the song "Rum Hee". In addition, she has made two short films, is an active singer and has performed with Taku Sugimoto, Leo Dupleix, and Seamus Cater among others with both pop and experimental music.
