GO' FEST IKKÅ – CLOTHING CLUB
"GO' FEST IKKÅ" will be shown in turquoise on the big screen for Winter Jazz 2025. This concert film beautifully captures Clothing Club's critically acclaimed live performance from the Roots & Hybrid Festival in turquoise at SPOT Festival 2024. Now, you can experience or relive the concert in the form of a concert film that will hopefully help reconnect your winter-frozen hip joints and dress you well in your mental wardrobe.
The film can be briefly summarized as follows:
"Clothing Club plays music that is, well, mostly about clothes. You like clothes, we like clothes, so it's pretty simple in a way. Alfred Rubin has captured Clothing Club’s universe with two iPhones, an old digital camera, and a roll of household film in this concert film."
Music magazine All That writes this about the film:
"All That attended the concert at SPOT and can wholeheartedly confirm that Clothing Club hit the mark on this spring day with their mission to let the listener put on a mental summer shirt through their music, and surrender to the sense of togetherness and light in a time of darkness, anxiety, and uncertainty in the world. This mission still feels just as important here in December as it did back in May, and their music, re-experienced as a concert film, is the kind of musical medicine that can definitely be enjoyed all year round."
Gaffa’s reviewer also gave the concert 5 stars with the description: "Clothing Club gave a solid olfert to all the visitors in the store."
There will be no olfert this time—but instead, a cinematic and musical hug, which we are very excited to share with you!
