Sara Parkman is a folk musician known to both question and embrace traditions in such an unabashed and simultaneously thoughtful way, that one could say that she has created her own musical universe - and that by doing so, she has become the great poster name of contemporary Swedish folk music.

Thanks to her three acclaimed solo albums, it is to be expected since same time that one can hear her music pulsate from foggy depths of Nordic forests during nocturnal rave parties - and equally expected to see her perform live in popular TV programs. When her latest album "Eras Agape Philia" was released in October 2022, it was met with overwhelming reviews. The album became Sara Parkman's breakthrough, was awarded a Swedish Grammy and was at the top of the biggest Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter's album chart for no less than five weeks.

Over the years, Sara Parkman has been awarded several times and in addition to the album success, Sara Parkman has had several completely sold-out tours and also hosted the TV-show Jill's Veranda in Nashville.
