Six selected musicians from across the North meet in an intensive residency at the artscene The Garden Studio in Djursland - together creating whole new pieces rooted in- and inspired from trad. nordic folk music and poetry from their respective countries. This process results in a concert where the musicians present their common new interpretations of the folk music and the poetry in a contemporary expression of music and words. The musicians come from different countries in the North and have different backgrounds in the classical or the rhythmical world - but they all have a love for folk music.

ABOUT VILDVAERK

Vildvaerk is an artistic platform formed in 2020. Our productions are based on cross artistic collaborations within the field of music, poetry, dance and art. Vildvaerk wish to examine and express the instinct and devotion that connects human and nature -  and the attentive space between humans through artistic creation and inclusive processes.
