PROUD ARTISTS PRESENTS #1

Proud Artist proudly presents the four artists Lalala, UdenH, Hjalte Wang, and Serenity, all together this evening at turkis!

This will be an extraordinary experience, where the audience will have a unique opportunity to see the artists after they have undergone an intensive workshop, which has equipped them to stand stronger as independent performers. The workshop included guidance from well-being consultants and collaboration with distributors and interest organizations.

The event is free, and we hope you'll join us in supporting these talented artists. Donations to the project are also welcome, with 50% of the proceeds going directly to the artists and the remaining 50% to the next Proud Artist Presents event.

UDEN H

Rapper UdenH is ready to help young people and his own generation battle "anxiety" and "melancholy."

UdenH writes deep, heartfelt lyrics about feeling lonely and helpless, while also critically addressing social media, which often unfortunately leads to anxiety and harsh self-criticism. The rapper from Aarhus is performing on home turf this time and will play a 30-minute set at Turkish on October 4th at 7 PM, as one of the four artists selected for the ProudArtist talent program. UdenH has recorded a single at AntFarm Studio with Tue Madsen, produced in a professional environment, which can also be experienced live.

So, if you want to hear a rising star tell stories over strong beats, don't hesitate. Welcome to H's world. UdenHim, UdenHer, UdenHead, when the soul takes over the body, and the music flows out!

HJALTE WANG

Hjalte Wang is the sound of a musical fusion between vast, dreamy soundscapes, hazy melancholic vocals, and a solid drum groove that ensures you don't drift away completely into the dreamy soundscapes.

LALALA

Lalala is a newly-formed electropop trio consisting of Sofia Lindland Ali, Sebastian Kinch, and Astrid Helena Frej-Møller. Thematically, the music explores emotional darkness, which is reinforced by the cold, boundless sound universe of electronic music. The lyrics are generally concise, honest, and almost ruthless.

The music is written and produced by Sofia and is a form of alternative electro-pop. It has never been released or performed live before, so the trio is excited for its debut performance at Turkis on October 4th.

SERENITY

Experience a fresh sound marked by youth and a broad palette of genres such as soul, funk, and an acoustic, intimate atmosphere. Serenity is an Aarhus-based band that creates an organic, homemade sound, with personal messages intertwined with the ups and downs of everyday life, expressed in both Danish and English.
