The cultural production platform 80MOONS offers an evening in the sign of rebellion at turkis.
"Woman - Life - Freedom" have become the three words that symbolize the rebellion against the regime in Iran. Join us as we explore the sounds of anger, powerlessness and protest, and how art can be used to convey confrontation and rebellion.
What does anger sound like? Can music be used as a political tool? Through literature, music and poetry, we dive into the high-tension protests against the Iranian regime, and give voice to the anger. Meet i.a. the Danish-Persian poet Shëkufe Tadayoni Heiberg, who will read from one of his works about the protests in Iran.
This event is organized by 80MOONS as part of the LiteratureXchange Festival.
