GAYE SU AKYOL
Gaye Su Akyol's latest album, "Anadolu Ejderi" ("Anatolian Dragon"), emerges from a period of introspection and creative expansion. From Anatolian folk to disco, from political commentary to personal reflection, each track on the album pulsates with vitality and innovation.
Akyol's lyrics are a poignant exploration of contemporary Turkey, capturing both the beauty of its past and the challenges of its present. Through poetic imagery and evocative storytelling, she confronts themes of political turmoil and cultural loss, offering a deeply personal perspective on the state of her homeland.
Musically, "Anadolu Ejderi" pushes boundaries, blending traditional Turkish instruments with rock, psychedelia, and beyond. The result is a sonic tapestry that feels both familiar and refreshingly original, inviting listeners to embark on a transformative journey.

HILAL KAYA, DEVRAN ALICI & FEYYAZ ÖZTUFAN
Hilal Kaya is a Danish/Turkish singer and guitarist. She performs songs in Turkish and has contributed to some of Denmark's first Turkish-language radio hits. In addition to playing with Kalaha, Hilal Kaya is working on her debut album under her own name, inspired by Anatolian folk music, pop, and jazz. Joining her this evening are singer/songwriter Feyyaz Öztufan on guitar, and Devran Alici on the Anatolian string instrument "Bağlama". Together, the trio embarks on an acoustic tour through various parts of the Anatolian repertoire.
