Sit back and enjoy two meditative and inspiring concerts when Aske Stubkjær and Cort Lunde performs at turkis. Within each of their musical genres, they convey nature and surroundings through their music in the finest and most whimsical way.

ASKE STUBKJÆR
Imagine a pianette in the middle of the evening and its beautiful light; the patio door is ajar, the birds are singing their last whistle and a light, cool breeze is felt. We are in the middle of the dining room. Right here, Aske Stubkjær recorded his compositions from the recently released EP "Tænker Tanker". It clearly bears the stamp of Aske's surroundings, and also conveys the surroundings in the finest way. This through the real sounds of chirps, heartbeats, steps, crackles and trickles.
Aske played earlier this year in this year's "Jazz competition" curated by JazzDanmark. All in all, it has been an eventful year for Aske, who played support for renowned Svaneborg Kardyb, back in March and was on a summer tour where he, among other things, peformed at Nibe Festival, Jazzhus Montmartre, Linnebjerg Festival and Ingenmandsland Festival.
CORT LUNDE
Cort Lunde is Erik Lunde Michaelsen and Thomas Cortes Thorup. The duo experiments electro acoustically with both trumpet, bass, synth and sampler, and works with man's cultural and technological relationship with nature. They will primarily perform compositions from their debut album “Flora Electronica”. All compositions are each inspired by a specific plant or flower from the Flora Danica collection, where elements such as the plant's color, shape and natural habitat have been fertile ground for the compositions. The result has become a form of absurd elevator music that lives in a jazztronica universe based on bio-organic beats.
Cort Lunde is supported by Slots- og Kulturstyrelsen, Dansk Musiker Forbund, Gentofte Kommune, Region Nordjylland, Statens Kunstfond, and is a natural extension of the Impro Fauna concept for which Erik Lunde Michaelsen won a DMA in 2021.
